The Tron (FutureTron) reimagines a moment of local legend through a futuristic lens. In 2009, a young rider from the Mormon Few motorcycle crew famously rode across the hoops of Hamilton’s iconic Fairfield Bridge — a daring act that quickly became part of the city’s folklore.

In this painting, that story is transported into an imagined future. Hamilton — affectionately known as The Tron — becomes a glowing night-time metropolis, its skyline edged with neon lines reminiscent of the luminous trails from the Tron films. The Fairfield Bridge stretches into the city, its familiar arches transformed into a high-speed pathway for a futuristic rider racing across the hoops.

Blending local history with sci-fi aesthetics, The Tron (FutureTron) celebrates the city’s identity while playfully imagining its legend rewritten in light and motion.
